What an incredible idea – I’ve been using these magnets daily for almost a month and cannot find anything I don’t like about the concept or the execution. The magnets are incredibly strong and hold the bags securely away from the Sous Vide inlet and outlet ports. They work to ensure that the bags stay under the water the whole cooking time (I used to use a rock, but it was really hard to fish out of the hot water, with these if I happen to drop a magnet when retrieving the bag I can always use a second magnet to slide it up the side to where I can retrieve it). Great product.

Meh! – Don’t really adhere to anything except each other. About the only time they work at all is when you stick them together on opposing sides of a sous vide bag. They work well enough to weight the bag then, but sticking to one another through the wall of a tank? Not so much.

Worked perfect thru a heavy insulation sleeve – I was worried about using these thru an insulation sleeve that I use to retain heat, but they worked very well. I was able to apply them and then move them up and down outside the insulation blanket. Clean up is a breeze, just a little soap and water. I use the chain mail blanket in the water for the very large items like brisket, but these magnets are perfect for multiple bags to keep them under the water on every side. I highly recommend them for all your sous vide needs.
