Great Product – I read a lot of reviews and a reoccurring con was fragile and broke several and thin handle. Well, I ordered it anyways, as all stated great taste. I was looking to replace my Mr Coffee Ice tea maker as the pitcher is plastic and very old. With knowledge, I do not heat anything in plastic so wanted glass. Well I am so glad I bought this despite the issues with fragile. I did buy 3 yr warranty just in case was easily broken. This is very solid , including the glass handle, and now has a rubber bottom to protect it when putting on glass shelves in refrigerator. I have tried several different tea flavors and the taste is so pure and good. I have used loose tea leaves and bags in the filter. I prefer the bags as with loose tea if the grind is fine, it does get some loose tea that settles in the bottom and have to pour out the very end amount. My only issue is that now with such good tasting tea, I go through a pitcher a day and have to learn to make during the evening as it has to set in frig at least 10 hours, so not a fast process but it is and easy process. I got the 1.5 litter and it fits well on the frig shelf. I would highly recommend this product. I will say, you need to use a bottle brush to wash it as the top neck is narrow but love it anyways.

I have used it for quite a while with no damage to the glass, but there was a silicone seal that was damaged by use, possibly with help from my cat.
