A very good product – Everything about the unit is very good. Makes excellent breaded tenderloins and fries. Only thing to be wary of is emptying the oil drain compartment, the cover may pop open, then you have a real mess!

All Clad quality, good temp control, easier to clean than Waring fryer BUT oil tank issues…. – This is a nice fryer and it’s a LOT like the less glitzy T-Fal EZ Clean deep fryer which is between $70 and $100 cheaper than this All Clad model. I like All Clad in general but as near as I can tell, this product was discontinued by All Clad exactly when I purchased it in early October, 2020 but it still pops up as available on Amazon. It’s not on the All Clad website. Most other online sites also have variable stock.

No Better Fryer On The Market – I had a T-Fal fryer that looks almost identical for many years. It got damaged in moving so I upgraded to the All Clad. There is less plastic for oil to crud up on over time. The control panel is nicer than my old fryer and heats up faster. The oil drain is the best thing about this fryer. It strains the garbage out of the oil so well it looks like new oil on the next use. It is absolutely important not to go over the maximum fill line as oil will spill over the reservoir when it is draining. There were comments about the reservoir top popping off when filling the fryer tub. I never had this issue but I can see where it could happen. If you are careful and not in a rush to fill the tub there is no problem.

With practice and planning, frying becomes an endurable, almost pleasant, task – All-Clad claims this deep fryer is easy to clean. Well….kinda’: Most parts can go into the dish washer. Some can go immediately into the dish washer. The fry “bowl” (as they call it) will drain the oil, but you have to get in there with a big handful of paper towels and dredge out the sloughed-off breading/coating before putting it in the dish washer. It is a messy business.

LOVE this fryer!!! – I bought a Kalorick fryer with the filtration unit a few years ago and the filter pan did not hold the MAX oil capacity!!! I used first time and the oil ran all over my counter!!! THAT was the first thing that pissed me off… second was the lever that controlled the fry/filter option broke same time!!! This unit is well made, stainless steel with only a few plastic parts… cleans super easy… basket cleans easier as well.. most units the corners of the baskets are tightly woven and you cannot get them clean…. Heats up super fast and product comes out great!!! I wish they made a little larger unit but this works great for the three of us….
