Works Nicely – I like this vacuum sealer, the only reason I did not give it five stars is that there’s a small gasket type thing and it keeps falling off. It didn’t happen until about the sixth time that I used the machine and it really does not effect the way the sealer works but it is annoying. I think I will call the company and see about having that little cushion insert replaced.

Good side seal – Bought for easy to use vacuum sealing and wasn’t disappointed. Operation was easy, bags are easy to size, and the double seal is good and solid unlike single seal baggers I’ve used. I wish it were a little lower to the counter for sealing larger, heavier meats.

sealer is good, their bags are trash – Had a cheap vacuum sealer and I never had an issue with food bag seals leaking. Every time I used Anovas bags they leaked. I switched them for some cheaper bags and haven’t had the issue again. They really should invest in better bags.

Nice vacuum sealer – After using this for about a month I am happy with it. I have sealed dry ingredients, opened the bag to use a portion and have been able to reseal after each use. I made apple pie filling in advance for Thanksgiving and sealed that using the moist setting. That worked well & I didn’t have any liquid inside the sealer. I’m having a learning curve using the pulse method. I ordered a package of variety sized bags. As a personal preference I like those better than cutting the roll to size. Haven’t tried this out with sous vide yet, but hope to soon. It’s easy to use & has enough features for me.

It has a setting for sealing items that have moisture and a setting for items that are dry. That alone makes a big difference.
