Best little cooker – Where have you been all my life? This cooker is so practical for one or two people. Does all sorts of meals. And small enough that I don’t end up with gobs of leftovers. Small footprint a must for RV living. Even warms my dogs breakfast. Yes he is spoiled but do you like cold breakfast when its 30 outside? I’ve made pilaf, rehydrated food, chili, steamed chicken and figured out how to make boxed mac n cheese. Highly recommend.

Love this Rice Cooker! – I use this all the time. It’s amazing for making 2-3 servings of rice, and having a little left over. The only downside is that my counter always ends up super wet from it spewing water out, even though I’ve followed the directions. I’ve taken to wrapping a hand towel around the base to catch the extra water. So it’s not that big of a deal. The rice comes out perfect every time!

Great small rice cooker – I got this in April of 2022 because our family likes to have white rice every once in a while. I always cook basmati rice and can never do it on the stove very well. But I got this little guy and has been awesome. We are a family of five. And this thing cooks three cups of dry rice which comes out to about six cups cooked rice. It’s super easy the instructions are very easy to understand and use. I highly recommend this to anyone that needs a side dish for a weekday meal or just likes to have a bit of rice. The ratios work out really well along with the cooking time so that I haven’t had any dry rice or burnt rice. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

My first rice cooker – and I’m 71! – My wife and I don’t eat rice very much, but when we do, we have cooked rice in a regular pot with a lid. We like rice so not sure why we we don’t eat more of it. I bought this rice cooker to give it a try. It arrived at 4pm, I unboxed it, a quick wash, and put in one cup of rice and one cup of water. I had watched YouTube videos so I pushed the start button. I realized I had some frozen vegetables in the freezer, got these out quickly and put them in the top steamer area. My wife was not too pleased having another appliance on the counter – but it’s fairly small. The rice cooked a little too long as there was burned rice in the bottom of the pan. Not much as 95% was fine. It tasted fine and the vegetables were great. I was worried about cleanup but to my surprise, the dark Brown baked-on rice came right off the bottom of the pan! Based first experience, I think I’ll keep it, and I’ll be trying oat meal this morning.

Great for rice! – I’ve never had a rice cooker before but thought I would give it a shot. It’s super easy to use and super easy to clean and it makes perfect rice. However, I wasn’t at all happy with the barley that I made. MI guess I’ll keep cooking barley on top of the stove. and just keep this for rice. I haven’t tried any other grains yet – only white rice.

It has a non-stick surface, which is one of the best things about it! It’s very easy to clean, and it doesn’t burn the rice on the bottom of the pan. It also has a little steamer basket that you can sit on top of the main pan, and then the lid goes on top of the steamer. So, you can cook your rice and steam some vegetables or whatever else you want, at the same time! It also comes with a nice little plastic paddle scooper to serve up your rice, and if you’re a little careful, it won’t scratch the non-stick finish. If you decide to order one of these, do read the directions, but notice that there are numbers with lines on the inside of the pan. Those numbers coincide with the number of cups of rice you want to cook. It does come with a little cup, and you fill your rice to the very brim of that cup. So for instance if you wanted to cook two of those cups of rice, you would fill the water in the pan to the number two line. The numbers are a little hard to see, but if you measure your water and rice this way, you will have perfect rice every time. The instruction booklet has instructions for steaming other types of rice and other things, so check it out!
