Great rice cooker – It fits perfectly in my tiny kitchen. It replaced my VERY old cooker I had. One of the reviewers said the cooker spewed water & steam out the vent in the lid. When I first used mine – yes, it did that as well, but I found that if you add a little more water (not a lot – try 1/8 cup – increase the next time if it still does this) to it in the beginning, it will NOT do that, and will not cause the rice to be mushy. I have had PERFECT rice and clean counters since. On the other end, if you DON’T put enough water in it, rice will stick to the bottom, or even burn up, causing bad reviews.

Love love this rice maker! – It’s no fuss, perfect white rice, used every day in my household! Price is excellent for the quality of the thick bottom stainless inside pan, easy so wash it. Made it sturdy, so glad I bought it, sent one for my daughter too!

Works Beautifully as Designed – I really like this rice/grain cooker. I use it mostly to cook quinoa. I read a few reviews stating that this stainless pot was difficult to clean after use, but I have not seen that to be true. It is functioning beautifully for me. I bought this to replace a similar unit, but which had the non-stick coating in the pot.
