Your waffle will only be crisp on one side. – I dislike that my waffle doesn’t cook the same on each side.One side is a little crunchy and the other is more bready. The taste is good. It cleans easily. I basically have to use my other hand to allow me to sit the waffle iron down correctly when I flip the waffle oven over. I have to be careful not to burn my hand or the cord. All in all its ok for the price. This is my option on the performance of the waffle iron.

Used home made batter from internet recipe and waffle was much better. Will try other recipes and post results. Mfg recommends 200 ml which is about .89 Cup. I used a 1 cup measure spoon with batter just short of the top.

Great buy – This was actually a great purchase. Very easy to use, heats up fast & cook’s evenly & it makes fantastic waffles. My daughter & I absolutely loved it. The only thing is if you have an overflow of batter it gets into the Crevices beside the plate & it’s a little difficult to get out. But it can be done by using a dry soft brush. Plates are not a problem easy wipe off. I am very satisfied with my purchase and We love it.

Overall – not impressed – I bought this one because it had a high heat output that was close to my 35 year old GE that finally died. It does cook in about the same time but the design has a serious flaw that isn’t obvious- All the plastic parts in the handle area have small gaps in between. That’s fine until you over fill it — the groves in the plates used to let excess batter spill out the sides are too small so the extra batter runs out the handle area, filling all the extra gaps. Near impossible to clean out. As for ease of use, I have it cranked up to the max and when the light says done– still not crispy so I add another minute. just Meh.
