Easy to use – Love it! I made lots of homemade ice cream!

Used and abused – I love this food processor! – We last purchased this food processor in February 2015. I lost the bottom half during our move, and found it just a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the motor seized due to being crammed into the dark back corner of my husband’s gigantic car trunk for a year, and when I finally went to use it the bowl pieces snapped.

Good processor for the price – This is the perfect size for everyday use. It’s a about half the size of a normal one, so be aware, it’s a little smalled..smaller… perfect size for me. I’ve only had it a couple weeks, but made tahini and mayonaise a couple times and the machine has performed really well, emulsifying for 5 plus minutes at a time. I haven’t used the shredder/slicer plate yet. It is easy to assemble and disassemble, even with the bowl full of product. My only criticisms would be that it is not quiet… probably no louder than another processor, but certainly not quite, and I don’t care for the suction cups on tge bottom, kinda annoying to try to move around on a slick counter top, but probably better than the machine walking off the counter top, if left unattended. Neither of these minor criticisms would prevent me form repurchasing or recomending. 5 stars for the price! You can certainly find a better one for double or triple the price, but this is a buy all day long.

Owned since 2014 – I bought this because my last food processor no longer worked (it is the same model as this one. I was looking for the best value for my buck, and Black & Decker never fails me, so I chose this one. I actually only needed the base, as my old one was broken after my warrantee was over. My bad luck with my first one that died but was saved by the fact the parts are interchangable so I can process two entirely different sets of ingredients: one for dry indgredients and the other for wet when I make baked goods (worked for sauces, or just my main meal and perhaps a dessert), and just clean everything in the dishwasher…

Why it doesn’t work for you. – I have been using this product for about six weeks and I love it. I would have given it 5 stars but the assembly instructions are poorly written causing a number of reviewers, myself included, to encounter operating problems. Fortunately, once you know the procedure, it is so simple. 1) Set bowl on base (leave lid off for now) with its handle pointed in the direction of the power buttons and handle slightly turned to the right of center – no more than half an inch. Once the bowl is in this position and firmly on the base, slide the bowl left toward the center of the two power buttons. You will notice a lip on the front of the base, just above the center between the buttons, on which the handle rests when engaged. This lip has a dot on it into which the spring lock in the bowl handle fits. Slide the bowl handle toward the lip until it engages. 2)Place the chopper blade over the center post spindle (not to be confused with the spindle attachment which accommodates the round shredder/slicer blade)in the center of the bowl. 3)Now put on the lid the same way you positioned the bowl. The food chute on the lid goes toward the back of the base and away from the handle on the bowl. Place it on the bowl a half inch or less off center to the right front. Note that there is a small locking cylinder on the underside of the lid just behind the chute. The metal pin in the top of the chopper blade fits into the lock on the lid. Make sure the chopper pin is inside the lid lock, then slide the lid toward the handle until it slips into place. You can see the spring lock depress through the clear handle of the bowl as the lid engages. Now the lid and bowl are locked onto the base.

Food processor – This food processor is easy to use, it has many features, you can use for different things. Chopping, slicing, etc. It is a good value for the money. I use it in a canning process to help speed things along. Big help.
