Microwaveable!!! – This French press was perfect because you can remove the glass and put it right in the microwave. This helps get the water as hot as possible without having to use extra dishes. It’s tricky to wash but that’s just the nature of French presses.

A properly designed and made product. – This 34oz French press is a great value. The frame supports the carafe well and reduces the potential for it shattering from thermal shock. The container can be removed from the frame for easy cleaning.The mesh is very fine and well compressed by the spring against the glass. I haven’t had any grains get into my cup. For the price it is a great buy.

Nice french press but I liked my previous Bodum better – This one requires you to insert the press in exactly the right spot by eye – my last one had a notch on the top that showed where the press went and would only fit if it was in the proper place. Also, the last one (which I was unable to find here) didn’t have the feet on the bottom and had much less plastic. It works fine, will last until it the glass breaks at my hand, but isn’t the best Bodum out there.

Very cheap quality – I’ve had Bodums over the years and this one is by far the cheapest quality Bodum I’ve ever owned. I should’ve sprung for the nicer version of a metal cage. When I disassembled the plunger to clean, I didn’t realize the bottom cross ring didn’t have the screw in mechanism attached. Thankfully it fell in my sink but at the time I didn’t know that. When you’re cleaning the the main beaker, the holder is cheap plastic and just falls right over. It’s a French press and it works just fine. But, the quality of the French press itself is super cheap.
