SO FAR WORKING GREAT!…3 stars instead of 5 is about something else…. – Truth be told we’ve only had this toaster for 2 days but we LOVE THE WAY IT TOASTS! It toasts 2 slices of bread evenly on both sides which is something that couldn’t have ever be said about the toaster it replaced. If things change I’ll come back and edit.

Magical bread crisper – Obviously, this toaster is expensive, not the most expensive, but still expensive (for a toaster). It’s probably more than most people are willing to spend on a toaster or at least at the top of most budgets. So why should you spend $100 (that’s what I paid) on this toaster?

Almost perfect – Good build quality, and attention to detail like how the plug is very solid and safe and includes a nice “pull loop” to make it easier to use.

– This toaster looks great and feels solid, however it toasts very unevenly – with one side toasting perfectly, and the other side hardly at all. We returned one, and bought another hoping it was a one-off problem. But, had the same problem with the 2nd one and have returned that as well. Please stop making small appliances that don’t work well – I don’t know where our returned items end up, but I hate the idea of them simply going to a land fill. Appliances used to be made for a lifetime of use. Now you’re lucky to get a year or two, or less. Irresponsible manufacturing.

My only complaint is the design flaw of having the slider setting on the side, where it is almost guaranteed to get knocked around somewhat. I bought this in Apr and it’s now Dec and it has already broken off (it is very flimsy plastic on a very slim plastic post). The toaster is still usable, it’s just permanently (now) set in the middle setting.
