Cheap price, cheap product – I took a chance and ordered this maker because many of the others had mixed reviews and this had none, well I give it two stars. The first one I ordered, the motor mount was broken due to poor packaging, the replacement came in an even small box and had three puncture marks on the side. The unit was not damaged, so I cleaned it and warmed it up for 5 minutes as directed, turned off and put the sugar in, flipped it back on and in about 45 second there were sugar strings waiting to be spun on a stick. I’m not sure how the other inexpensive makers are, but it was not easy for my 8 year old to spin without hitting the hot spinning plate, so I had to do it. I’m no expert at cotton candy making, but I did manage to make some sticks. The kids didn’t care that the cotton was wrapped a little tight. I would rather have the $1 tub of cotton candy at Walmart, but the kids enjoyed making it. Overall, I would not recommend buying this one, try one of the others with a 3-4 star ratting for $40

Multiple uses, still love it. – I received this machine about a month ago now and have used it on 4 different occasions. Each time I have used it it has worked great! I love this machine!

Worked Great! And Then It Didn’t – This machine worked great for 34 days — just over the 30-day “return without question” time limit. Had a great time with it, tried lots of flavor combinations, was the life of every gathering. Learned the secret of not accidentally remelting the cotton into sludge (keep your stick parallel to the ground and high ABOVE the bowl, away from the heating element — not inside it like the much larger carney versions. You’re welcome!)

Easy to use! – This is a great little machine. The only issue I have with it is the volume of cotton candy produced. It is quick and easy to use, and the cotton candy tastes great. But you don’t get much cotton candy out of the amount of sugar you can put in the middle.

Awesome machine – This is a great gift my girlfriend loved it. Crushed candy doesn’t work very well and you can only make large grapefruit sized cotton candy balls because it can’t hold too much sugar,..I didn’t believe the other reviews that you can’t make big cotton candy balls but its true they are small but it only takes a few seconds to re load and make a lot so its still worth it. I don’t recommend crushed candy, as fun as it sounds it doesn’t work as well as sugar and it makes a huge mess unlike sugar. And I recommend buying sugar that is made for cotton candy, it works much better and the flavor comes out better. This machine came super quick and it super easy to use I love it she loves it you should buy it…then love it

Fun for kids – I bought this for my 10 year old niece. She wanted to melt hard candy for flavors learned fast add regular sugar and crush candy first or it just gets Smokey. After that lesson by the end of the day she had it mastered. After making a few batchs it needs to get cleaned and dried and you can start again.
