It fits! The customer service was fabulous! – I ordered a top cover piece for my Cuisnart food processor. It’s a wonderful machine that I can not live without. The weak point for this machine is the plastic cover and the taps that fit the top to the bowel. They break with use. I hand wash the plastic bowel and top, but I use this machine a lot. So during Christmas baking, it broke. I ordered one but it disappeared ( porch pirate??). They sent me another one extra quick. It fits! Perfect. Thank you costumer service! You were so nice.

Doesn’t fit DFP-14BCN – Cuisinart’s website indicates this top fits my model. Technically I can put the top on my original work bow, but it doesn’t engage the safety mechanism without constant downward pressure. It’s not the experience I want or would expect from Cuisinart.

This is the correct replacement part for Cuisinart Model DFP-14BCNY! – I now have another correct replacement part for my quiet/quality food processor. Unlike some others, my original bowl + assembly still works fine (after 3 years of light/moderate use), but I anticipate it will wear out in the future. I think it’s a good idea to have immediate back up parts on hand, for that day.

These have an apparent know issue. – As a result of this know issue where the clips snap off easily I should think they’d be a lot cheaper. This fits a Cuisinart DFP-14BCWNY.

Be very careful closing and unclosing this cover. Breaks easily. – Replaced original part that was easily broken.
