Not as good as previous models – I have had two previous models of cuisinart convection ovens. My first one I dearly loved, I used it almost daily. My son and his family moved in with us for several months, when they moved out I bought them a a cuisinart convection oven they were so thrilled to receive it. Mine broke after yrs and yrs of use I literally cried when it broke. I went from store to store till I found a cuisinart oven and it was even on sale, my win. The cuisinart oven I have now still works great BUT the gaskets leaks and also I’ve cooked bacon it it so much and it’s impossible to clean. I do most of my oven cooking in that oven so I that way I don’t heat the kitchen up. I’ve had that cuisinart oven I know for over 10 yrs. everything works on it but it just looks dirty because of all the bacon I’ve cooked. I’m going to put it on back porch to cook bacon in. I ordered this new cuisinart oven, I’m surprised at how small and light it is. The baking racks are even flimsy, unlike my previous ones. I baked biscuits in it this morning, first time use, they burned on bottom and wasn’t done on top. The walls are so flimsy and thin unlike their previous ovens I don’t see how the heat can stay in to bake. I’m really disappointed cause I have loved my other cuisinart ovens and products from the start. I’ll probably be returning this & looking for a different brand in the store so I can see and feel how it’s built.

Very good product, yet a couple of design flaws – I decided to purchase this toaster oven a couple of weeks ago when my 12+ y.o. Oster had clearly reached the end of its useful life. I extensively researched the competition on this and other websites before choosing this Cuisinart model. The features that were “must-haves” for me were an easy-clean nonstick interior and the convection option. I did not want a rotisserie – which I would never use – an air-fryer, or a dehydrator function. I also had specific space requirements (measure, measure, MEASURE before buying any appliance!) and wanted a timer that exceeded a 1 hr. limit (some products only go to 30 min., which is useless for baking potatoes, etc.), and this oven’s timer goes up to 2 hrs. before automatically shutting off.

    5. H. S (verified owner)

Gets the job done – The oven arrived yesterday and I’ve used it 4 times so far, twice for toast, once of pizza, and once for phyllo dough and brie pastries.
