All I could have expected – When I started looking (haven’t purchased a toaster for 40 years) I expected to pay around $25. The more I read the reviews about poor quality the more I thought I would have to move up to around $30. Then I found this toaster and decided I would spend another $5 because most of the reviews were very positive. It looks like quality but more important it really works well. And for those of you who burn your fingers getting the toast out don’t worry if it doesn’t leave it on the counter for you or seems like it isn’t high enough just lift the push down lever up and it will be conveniently raised.

Do not get if younger children in your home – Just received this toaster today and am doing the reheating, as suggested, (had to do it 3 times) and discovered that this toaster is screaming hot on the exterior. Yes, I know they are hot after using but being in my 70’s I have had many toasters over the years and never had one this hot! Yes, I let it cool down between each heating. Also because of the extreme heat it should be well away from a wall and out from under a cabinet. Yes, younger children should not use unsupervised, but I would not take a chance they might touch it after someone uses it.
