Be sure to measure the kernels before adding to the popper. – Works well, easy to set up and clean. I have used without oil, as I don’t like oil on my popcorn. Took a little longer to start popping, but popped the kernels completely.

Easy to use – This popper is kind of flimsy but that makes it easy to invert to get the popped corn into the bowl – but be careful the handles are close to the hot area. I popped 3 ounces of kernels that I knew were on the old, stale side and only about 5 or 6 did not pop. It’s pretty fast and very easy to clean. Do not use the “measuring cup” use your own measuring spoon. Also that measuring cup which doubles as a lid is pretty tricky to remove once snapped into place. So even with its flimsiness etc. it does make good popcorn quickly. I used Flavacol and coconut oil – – I am sure the nutrition nannies will be upset with that but who wants dry tasteless popcorn you might as well eat a piece of tree bark.

Great Popcorn Popper – I’ve been making popcorn on the stove for YEARS – since I was a young teen and I’m now 69 years old. I have a new ceramic top stove and will NOT pop popcorn on it because you have to shake the pot while it’s popping and I don’t want to scratch the ceramic top. I know there are pots out there with a handle you can turn instead of shaking the pot across the burner but I don’t need the mess of oil on the ceramic top either – TOO MUCH MESS. I absolutely DESPISE microwave popcorn – too many cancer causing chemicals. I have ALWAYS popped my own popcorn. You can’t get a better popcorn popper than this one. It’s GREAT. It’s fast and I love the fact that you can put butter on top and it melts down onto the popcorn – no separate mug in the micro to melt the butter – less to clean up! All-in-one popcorn popper with butter and cleanup – it’s a BREEZE! Just make sure you listen to the popping and turn off the popper immediately and unplug it, otherwise you’ll get a few burned ones. I don’t care HOW you pop popcorn – you’ll always get a few burned ones and a few unpopped ones. I had maybe 3-4 unpopped ones. Can’t get any better than that! Get it – you won’t be sorry.

popcornnn pops great-the lid is thin and I do hope it doesn’t crack – used this Elite gourmet several times and is great when poping the corn. My only concern is that the lid is thin and hope the lide does not crack. The body of the machine seems delicate and the clear lid is thin. In 3 uses everything pops well and I hope the quality of the machine continues to work function good.

Great Little Popcorn Maker – I receive this yesterday and have already made two batches. Both came out perfect with only a couple of unpopped kernels. My first batch had a few burnt pieces but that was on me. I didn’t turn it off quickly enough so you need to definitely listen for slow down. My first batch I used ghee and my second batch I used olive oil. Didn’t taste too much of a difference. Both batches were light and fluffy. Love it. It is very easy to clean too. I want to add, after making many many batches, is to use a brand name corn. My first batches were store brands then I got a brand name. The kernels came out much bigger and seemed to be less hulls. Store brand or name brand corn, this is a great little machine.
