      Very basic, but the temperature settings are wildly off – So, I bought this specifically to make a prawn curry.

      It’s okay – I gave it three stars because it doesn’t heat as well as my other crockpots and slow cooker. It took over 10 hours for scalloped potatoes and they still were not cooked through. You would have to parboil first.

You could not really make a roast in this but you could easily do chicken breasts, thighs etc. The dish can also be put in the oven, which I did to brown the top of something.
