Works great and hold vacuum – These bags cost more than others but they hold a vacuum unlike some others. Also, the gallon size actually hold a gallon, even allowing space for the valve. They are the only bags I’ve found that will fit a 1KG spool of filament.

Recommended – good quality, and easy to use. Used for everything from cheeses, cold cuts, vegetables and pastries in the fridge, and even my bunad silver (which should be stored in plastic), has now been vacuum sealed in airtight bags

Food Saver reusable bags – I love Food Saver bags and have been using them for a couple years. I thought I’d try the new version and will go back to the original ones. They appear to be larger but hold the same amount. The biggest issue is they are impossible to open! Even my husband has a hard time getting them open. I gave up this morning and used scissors.

Jury is out on these – I got them to marinate meat and I just can’t seem to get an adequate suction on these. Thus far a disappointment but I’m going to keep trying to see if this is just operator error or a flawed product design.

Great bags; not reusable for meat – Hi. These are great bags, but in the packaging it says not reusable for meat. They can’t really be cleaned well enough to reuse for meat. I am now using them for non-meat items and they work great!

Works great, but durability is lacking. – Initially I was having issues with the bag leaking after being sealed. After a couple failures I realized I just needed to take my time sealing and ensure both sides are lined up and tightly sealed; not a fault of the bag, but worth mentioning for those that may have the same issue. I regularly use the bags to store chopped onions and garlic in the freezer. After a few months of infrequent use (opened once or twice a week), the seal separated entirety when I tried to open the bag. I assumed it was a one-off and an issue with how I opened the bag, until the second bag’s seal had the same issue shortly after. It appears to be a manufacturing quality issue or may be unique to use in a freezer. They may not have been inteded to last over a few months, but at the price point and noted as reusable I had higher expectations.

They work – I bought these to shrink clothes and other items for packing into a a suitcase. I also use it to vacuum seal jerky I make for the holidays and ship out. I also have the hand-held sealer from Food Saver that works well.

This is all you need. – So I have two vacuum sealers (just bought the new power xl-save your money and don’t buy it). My biggest problem with both of my machines is having to place the bag just right in the machine, cutting the bag evenly, and getting a good seal. This eliminates all of it. Sure you have to wash the bags after each use-I could care less. I would rather have a product that is easy to use and eliminates access waste than to constantly buy plastic that I will just be thrown away. This is foolproof in you have the tool to use it. My only annoyance is I bought it and litterally the next day it went up in price-my bad luck.
