I don’t think it will last long – If it arrives broken from the trip in the mail, I don’t think it will withstand the temperatures of a microwave.

Flimsy – I bought this to replace a pampered chef rice cooker that I dropped & broke handle. I had that one for years. I don’t think this product will last. Very thin plastic & lid doesn’t snap on without trying several times.

GREAT product priced right – This works as well as or better than the Pampered Chef one we had that melted in the microwave. (Let me just say there was nothing wrong with the Pampered Chef one, but someone in my house who shall remain nameless ….hubby….forgot to put the water in the rice and that WILL make rice get hot enough to melt even the finest quality plastic.) This cooker was about 20% of the price of the PC one too! Highly recommend.
