      Great item but unfortunate damage to the electrical cord while manufacturing. – UPDATE: Received my replacement and it works great. Feels powerful and yet not noisy as my old one. Everything works as it should with this one! Love the fact that it is simply constructed, no nooks and cranny, straight-forward design, not heavy to handle and so easy to wash!

      Yep- it processes food ***UPDATE*** it died after 5 years – January 29th, 2019 marks a sad day. My food processor sputtered and died. I was pulverizing dried mushrooms. I did not overload the basin. The motor kept dragging (you could hear it drag from high to low- even on the same speed). I was not overworking it. I always took care of this machine. I got 5 years of moderate use. I think the blade was dull as a butter knife as well. I knew it’s time was near. But today it died. So be it.
