Great, compact design and easy to use – With everyone jumping the air fryer band wagon. I still use a toaster oven almost every day. And this one fit the bill perfectly. Easy to use with settings for toast, bake or broil and a separate temp dial. A removable tray at the bottom for easy clean up.

The perfect OVEN (it’s not just for toast) – I’ve been using a small Rival toaster oven for years but have wanted to upgrade to something larger. I’ve had my eye on the Hamilton Beach EAsy Open oven for a while so when it went on sale during Prime Days I got it for half its original cost and took the plunge. I’ve been using this oven nearly daily for the last few months without complaint. It has exceeded my expectations completely and then some.

Great Toaster Oven! – We’ve owned this nice-looking toaster oven about 6 months, and really like it. Good size…easily accommodates 4 pieces of bread at a time. Does a perfect job of toasting (haven’t tried baking or broiling yet). Easy to remove crumbs/clean.

Stay on feature – I bought this toaster because I ended up breaking my old Hamilton Beach toaster. I really like the convection feature and the up and over door. The toast color is much easier to control than the old one too, but what I wanted to address was all the people leaving reviews saying how the stay on feature can be dangerous. In the eight years or so before I ruined my old toaster, I never once used the timer feature. Not once. I just turned the dial to stay on and turned it off when I took out the food. It simply never occurred to me to time what I am cooking as I usually judge the readiness by looking in the window and seeing if it’s done.

My family loves this toaster oven; it has unique features – We had an expensive Cuisinart before this. It was so hard to clean. This one does everything that one did but has great attributes: The door opens UP so no crumbs or cheese gets on the door; A bottom tray slides out easily for crumbs and also doubles as a baking tray; There are two cooking levels for the rack; You can pull out the whole rack and set it on the counter and it is its own cooling rack.

Smaller footprint – While this does have a smaller footprint than my previous Hamilton Beach, it still holds a 12 inch pizza. Toasts and bakes well . The oven door opening upward is a definite plus. My only complaint is that I can no longer use my bakers with handles.

It’s mostly what I expected – I’ve now used this toaster oven to make toast, garlic bread, fish, chicken and vegetables. So far, everything I’ve cooked in it has cooked correctly. Though I found vegetables and fish take longer than in my old toaster oven. Not sure if it is because this one is a bit bigger. I like that it has two levels to place the rack. The only drawback for me is the knobs. They are kind of big and I have to bend down to see the time on the bottom one because the big knob is in the way. Not really a problem but should be mentioned. Toast also cooks up nice, though sometimes the color may not be even throughout the slice. Little awkward to clean the class lid, but so far manageable.
