      Love, Love, Love!!! – I use my slow cooker at least once a week. Love the programmable feature of this Hamilton Beach model. The lock feature secures the lid perfectly. The removable crock makes clean-up a breeze. Highly recommend!

      Hamilton Beach Stay or Go Portable 6 quart crock pot – I use this crockpot at least twice a week and so far so good. I like how the lid latches. As far as cleaning, it’s stoneware with porcelain glaze like all common crockpots. You should never put it in the dishwasher, better to hand wash so that you don’t get the white scum that appears when you put it in the dishwasher. The digital buttons and directions are fairly simple. I’ve only used the manual mode but the other features are easy to use.

      The best crockpot hands down – This crockpot is better than all the rest. I made chicken alfredo in it and I didn’t have to use anything else but the crock pot. I cooked the chicken in it which makes it a healthier dish!

      Some reservations RE: Quality/Durability, temperature settings bit High – We bought this HB Slow Cooker to replace one that lasted 10+ years with frequent use. This one seems to have more plastic and cheaper Touch screen. As noted in other reviews, Touch screen does not light until after programming and then only back lit. My older model had LED read-out that was much easier to read. Older Touch screen had more positive touch, as well. I also liked the carry handles and locking mechanism better on my previous “Stay Or Go’ model. Originally reordered same Model but LED was so dim could not be read without a flashlight. So, second time around ordered this model for Flex cooking feature. I tried it out last weekend with vegetable soup. Worked fairly well- cooks a little Hot on both High and Low settings…something to keep in mind when programming time/temperature. Also, could not change time while in first Flex cycle or during Program Mode even though Instruction Guide says can be adjusted by Up/Down arrows. Crock insert moves around inside heating base. My older cooker crock fits perfectly though they are supposed to be same 6 quart size. New crock insert is visibly smaller. I contacted HB Customer Service. Received reply in 4 days saying this is ‘normal’. Not sure about that. I did not get a response regarding changing time/temperature during a cycle. I like the Flex feature enough to give it a little more time but overall quality less than my former HB slow cooker. Will see if this one holds up. If not, this will be my last HB appliance.

You can set it to cook or set it to cook and then go to warm with a timer or you can set it to stay on warm you can set it on a timer. I love it it’s a great size and even though I am alone I can make meals in bag them up for the freezer. I just made some ham hocks and beans and it turned out to be delicious! I don’t think you could go wrong with this crockpot!
