      First Impression – This is only a first use, so nothing about reliability or durability can be said yet. I rarely ever am impressed by a purchase with a first use, but this is one of those times. In all my years of using a mortar and pestle to grind the spices for my Italian salad dressing, I have never been happy with how the rosemary came out: the bits were always too large. I decided to try an electric spice grinder, and this did in a few seconds what I couldn’t do no matter the time with my mortar and pestle, and without the pain! I was absolutely not prepared for my nose to be hit with the fine powder when I opened the cap: this was a surprise that surpassed pleasant! If I find I need a less powdery mix for the dressing, my “job” will be even easier…use it less! Cleanup was very easy with the included brush. Definitely recommend to friends & family, and well worth the money.

      Nice spice and herb grinder – I used this product as soon as I received it to grind up some dehydrated French Tarragon. It worked perfectly for that. It is easy to control the texture of the spice as you grind. The longer you go the more powdery the spice will be. I also used it to grind a mixture of dehydrated hot peppers and it worked great for those as well. I would recommend this product.
