Fits like a charm! – Works great and I don’t have to worry about it breaking like the one made of glass.

Fits pretty good on the Chemex coffee pot – The only complaint I have about it: it would be better if it had more suction to it. I really have to press it down strongly so it doesn’t pop out, which can be dangerous with coffee spilling all over

It works…sorta – The bamboo is laminated, in three layers. After about two weeks of daily use, the bottom layer of lamination (two pieces) fell off into the coffee. I don’t know what kind of glue they use to make these, but it doesn’t hold up to moisture and heat. I’m still using it because it has a good rubber, or silicon seal on the top layer and it keeps the coffee warm. I only gave it two stars because of the ineffective glue. I hope it’s not toxic glue. If you don’t see another review from me you’ll know I have succumbed to cheap glue. 🙂

Chemex Bamboo Lid – I thought the lid would fit at the very top of the Chemex pot. However, it fits in the smallest part of the neck of the pot. It does little to keep in heat, but does keep out flying annoyances in the kitchen when there’s fruit and fresh tomatoes on the counter. There’s a band at the bottom that helps keep the top in the neck. Not sure I’d buy it again. A cloth or paper napkin would suffice. Probably not for company.

Not quite as expected… – This is a very nice piece but what I didn’t like about it that I expected was it to fit on the top. It does not. It fits at the top of where the wood surround begins. So great after you do your pour, but while the water is going through the filter there is no cover on the top so heat is still lost.
