Why I didn’t buy it before? – The only problem with this instant pot is my stubbornness of not buying it before. My friend, a picky former chef, has been recommending it for over a year now but I thought that it was too much for my tiny kitchen.

Cool design – Bought this for my sister. She is hard to please because she is kind of minimalist and doesn’t care for much. Normally she returns most of the things I buy for her. But his thing she likes it and she is using it often. Surprise!! She uses it as a backup rice cooker also and she loves the way the rice turns out.

I had no isdea they had 3 QT ! So happy to find it. – My ex roommate had one, and I liked them, but now I live in a tiny studio, so I was hesitant to buy it. Black Friday came, so I thought it’s the best deal of the year. I will figure out the space issue. I accidentally bought the 3QT version, simply because I had no idea there are different sizes, and did not pay attention. I am so happy I did. This is fantastic for a single person. It depressurizes in 15 to 20 minutes, unlike the big ones that take 40+ when you cook just for yourself. Plus it is so much easier to store, and when you live in a tiny studio, it really matters!

bb8 cook me breakfast – I’m not really a star wars fan but this 3 quart is pretty cool. Perfect size. So before you actually use it for cooking food you’re supposed to run the pot through a pressure cook test cycle with 3 cups of water. Which it did fine with. But there was def some assembly grease or something that smoked/smelled bad. I recommend running the test cooks twice to get rid of the smokey smell as well as plastic smell. Cooked my first meal and made a bean and chicken soup, 30 min is spot on for dry pinto beans that were not pre soaked in water.

But this is so pricey.. i was getting a 6qt for a lower price but didn’t have space to keep another 6qt one. Really cute, insanely functional – I really love this instant pot, mostly because of the cute baby yoda. I’ve had an instant pot in the past and loved how versatile it is and how easy it makes cooking. As a single mom, that’s very important. I can cook healthy meals for my family, pretty easily. My only complaint with this one is that the lid sometimes won’t come off, even when it’s completely cooled down and there is no pressure at all, something is causing it to get caught, which is a small annoyance, but I can wiggle it around a bit to eventually come off
