This is the BEST mini 2 quart air fryer – This is the first air fryer I purchased as I dipped my toe into the air fryer world, and I absolutely love it. I’ve used it multiple times a day since it arrived and I never had a problem with a strong smell. It works flawlessly and feels solidly built. I loved this one so much, I bought a different air fryer for when I need a larger, deeper basket but, after my positive experience with the Instant Vortex Mini, I was very disappointed in the quality of the larger one from a different popular brand. It made me love my mini Vortex even more. The mini Vortex is very quiet while cooking, and even the beeps it makes are quieter. I like the dial operation as I can adjust the time and temperature without any beeping. This air fryer gives you the option to completely turn off all beeping sounds by touching and holding both the Time and Temp for 3 seconds while it’s in standby mode. The beeps can be turned back on by repeating the process. It’s a nice feature to have when quieter operation is needed. It seems that most air fryers don’t have this feature. This Vortex mini is ideal for 1-3 people and the small footprint is perfect for college students or anyone with limited space. Definitely recommend.

Madly in love! – I didn’t expect to like this so much. My first air fryer was a huge, expensive Pampered Chef one and I found it clunky and hard to clean and overall a pain. It wasn’t any easier than using my oven and I just didn’t get the love for air fryers.

Great LITTLE Air Fryer – This is a great air fryer if you’re only cooking for 2 or maybe 3 and have limited storage space. It’s light and small, works well and is easy to use and clean. It’s also pretty quiet. The alerts could be louder ( I can’t hear the beeps) but that’s true with almost everything now that I’m 71. Most folks would probably have no issues. The inside basket is only about 2.5 inches tall and 7×7 inches wide so don’t expect to cook big batches or items. That said, it’s perfect for us. I like the digital pre-sets and the fact that they can be changed if desired. Overall, I like it. It DOES stink with the usual electronic odors the first time used. Run a couple of empty cycles first, then it’s fine.
