The BEST toaster oven I have ever owned! – In the past 8 years we have went through about 12 toaster ovens! This the first oven I haver ever owned the actually cooked as good a big oven! It browns evenly. All the other toaster ovens hasn’t lasted a year and never cooked right! I am completely happy and would buy again if needed!

How did I ever get along without this – We are only 2, so not making big meals. But I use this every day. Makes amazing toast, grilled cheese sammies, baked a good apple pie, perfectly heated frozen pizza, air fry sweet potato fries, air fried BEST salmon EVER, pan sear tenderloin steak then finish in 350 oven for 5 mins-perfection! Air fry green beans, asparagus- really any veggies, baked cookies! The thing it doesn’t do well is crispy chicken – tried several recipes-just not up to par. Cleaning isn’t too difficult for all areas except the roof! Directions say do not use oven cleaners. Tried baking soda, and other concoctions but the grease splatter on the roof is impossible to really clean. But this saves me work in so many other ways, I can live with a little hard scrubbing once in a while.

KitchenAid Duel Convection oven / Air fryer – This thing is awesome! A little bit more than I wanted to pay, but we’ll worth the $$. I bought this appliance to save money on my electric bill. As it heats up really fast 3 to 4 min, and the bake times are greatly reduced. My electric stove takes about 13 to 14 min to preheat, so right their is savings. Also it won’t heat up the house as much in the summer months. I also bought a Granite Ware 7 lb. Capacity 13 in. Covered Oval Roaster, Speckled Black Enamel on Steel roaster pan for it too, so I can bake roast in it. The pan fits just right in the oven. I bought the roaster pan here on Amazon. I’ll update this review down the road if needed.

Not An Air Fryer – The oven came double boxed. It appears to be very well made and looks good. Cooking a pizza came out good and even. I returned another oven because of how horribly uneven it cooked a pizza although it was a true air fryer with the large strong fan on top blowing air through an element. However, when air frying chicken tenders as directed at 300 degrees for 12 minutes, the tenders were still cold. The oven didn’t seem to be 300 degrees. After a little research, I found out this oven has no top strong fan pushing air through a heating element, which is the definition of an air fryer, only 2 weaker fans in the rear which is the definition of a convection oven. The fans seem weak and or real quiet.

Countertop oven – Love this oven. Look like very good quality sitting on my counter. Great for heating extras like garlic bread when your oven is being used. Also great for keeping food warm while you finish everything else.

Thoughtfully Made – This replaces a considerably cheaper countertop toaster/oven and our upgrade is worth it. The temperature controls are more accurate, it preheats quicker, it doesn’t have a gap at the door hinge that fills with crumbs, the tray is much sturdier and has a rack that fits it and it is easy to set the time for any cooking method. I am glad I chose Kitchenaid, which I did because our blender and mixer are also good quality, from Kitchenaid. I wasn’t ready to spend a fortune for countertop appliance because we have an oven as well, but this seems like a good price point for a well made product.
