Great little chopper – I love this little chopper. It has two “speeds” so chopped veggies and nuts don’t turn to mush. Also, the blade is easy to take out to empty the bowl. Another plus is there is a channel to wrap the cord into which makes for very easy storage.

Better than a knife! – I cook daily; cutting up onions and garlic frequently. Pulling out my large processor is just not worth the effort, especially having to clean the thing with all its parts. But this handy thing, I’m leaving it in counter and it’s as easy as a knife to clean. Excellent at chopping & purée, I used it extensively when making my sides for thanksgiving dinner. Respect the blades they are super sharp! I highly recommend this product.

Pleasantly Surprised – I didn’t expect much. Making authentic bolognese or mirepoix is tedious. Either you grate all the veggies or chop them in tiny pieces. This small unit is perfect.

This Is My Second One – I am very familiar with this food chopper. It does a good enough job that this is my second one because I dropped my first one and it was only 4 years old. I used it all the time because I cook all the time. Almost something everyday that is international. This means prepping and chopping. I also cook and bake using nuts, and this does a great job chopping nuts. My first one lasted 4 years. If I had not dropped it I believe it would have lasted another 4. The reason for only 4 stars for blending power is because it has a setting for “puree” and it really doesn’t puree well. As for power though, it has enough to make pecan dust/flour. It has a small footprint on the counter, and for fine chopping or coarse, it makes those jobs so easy.

It chopped garlic, onions, and celery together for my stuffing in seconds. Easy to clean , safe and compact for storage. I took one star away bc like others stated , the lid closure/pulse “button” is a learning curve. It took several tries to get the hang of it and I still struggle a tad with it. But if you can look past that for the price , and great features it’s a good purchase.
