The kettle has a continuous temperature range up to 212F/100C (boiling) as well as easy presets for common temps that it will heat to, and stay at, then it beeps when it’s at the set temp. It keeps the water at that temperature if you don’t get to it for a while. Easy and convenient to use. When the kettle is lifted from its base, it automatically shuts off. When you put it back on the base it stays off unless you press the ON button on the little LED display on the top of the handle, set a temperature (it remembers the last one), then it goes to work again.
