Press your strength – I love strong coffee! This small pot is perfect, perfect cup every time!

Great size for coffee mugs. Bad for hygenie. Buy with care. – I like coffee made with a french press/cafetiere. I also like to drink coffee from a mug not a cup. A proper coffee mug is larger and so a larger french press is needed. I’ve learned over time that I need a 24 – 27 oz french press. A 32 oz (1 litre) is two large and a 20 oz is too small. I keep browsing Amazon to find the right size and one day I cam upon this one. It’s the right size, looked good and was the right price. Perfect. Right?

Works like it says, just were no directions inside – I liked this product because it made a crisp clean cup of coffee, and the first type of coffee from a coffee club my daughter gave me for Mother’s Day suggested I use a French Press, and I bought it to really appreciate the gift I was given. Only issue, instructions that came in box were not for the coffee press but for a totally different item, and taped in the box, so some little glitch, I had to google for directions. Also, if you ever get coffee ground, make sure it is not too fine, it may make the last two tablespoons of coffee murky, but actually, the French Coffee Press works great, and was reasonable. May have to rub/rinse the screens after making coffee, depends on the type of coffee I think. It still feels weird to pour boiling water into a glass, it just does. Good product, I recommend!

Works as a french press, cannot be cleaned like one.. – I broke my bodum french press which is about the same size, so I bought this as a replacement considering it’s $10 cheaper. I found that you can’t separate the filter and stem to clean it without breaking the plastic endcap holding it on. So, I removed the stem and replaced it with bodums stem and filter, and it works like a charm. I guess to sum it up, if you broke your bodums glass, this will work as a much cheaper replacement. 🙂
