Was just what I wanted but never heated – I was SO excited to get a smaller slow cooker since my 8 qt broke. It arrived and I immediately used it to make chili… But my chili never got hot. I thought it was MY error so I tried chicken and dumplings… After 30 minutes there was hardly any heat and the food remained cold in the cooker, an hour later no change … It ruined my meal that night. I returned the cooker and got my money back. I’ve decided not to use slow cookers anymore and just use skillet cooking cause they don’t make these slow cookers like they used to. They feel cheap and even worse, they ruin two meals. When you are on a limited budget (disability) like I am you can’t afford a lot of things least of all a cooker that ruins two meals.
