      I like it – I’ve been using it for grilled cheese and it works just fine. But you might be able to make different kinds of grilled sandwiches. Hard to close lid if bread is big or stuffed. Should have gotten to double sandwich maker. Good product easy clean up

      Easy Grilled Cheese – Makes a quick and easy grilled cheese. Easy to clean. Only problem is I ordered mint but got red.

      Not strong enough to actually press sandwiches – We made three sandwiches before the lower handle broke off. While the cooking plates get nice and hot, and can actually crisp up the outside of the pressed sandwiches, the plastic outside components are not strong enough for the rest of the device. Whilst trying to gently press a sandwich and engage the locking mechanism, the lower plastic handle part broke off quite easily. If you can’t actually “PRESS” the sandwich together as it is grilled, it’s pretty useless. As an aside note, we made two more pressed sandwiches after that bit broke off- we used the sandwich iron and manually pressed the sandwiches. It worked fine. The iron is good; the housing is crap.

      Quick hot meal. – I love this so much! I have been able to make some quick hot food for myself and the kids. I even made a tortilla rolled turkey and cheese in it. Came out great for my picky 2 year old. Don’t hesitate, BUY IT!! Big time saver and you don’t have to pul out a big pan, butter, etc…

Makes damn good sandwiches with zero effort in 2 minutes, and the warming time is about the time it takes to make the sandwich itself. Plug her in, make your sandwich, close the sucker, and about 2-3 minutes later you got a hot, tasty sandwich. Plus the nonstick really is nonstick, you can clean it just with a once over with a sponge and or a paper towel. Only complaint is you can’t remove the plates for sink wash.
