Broke on first use – I tried to blend a smoothie and literally the first time I pressed down, it sputtered and stopped working. I’m shipping it back. Do not buy this.

I made nut dust. – Looks and works just like the old magic bullet, even looks like it. I’m not much of a smoothie drinker but I was looking for a faster way to chop nuts for baking as that’s something I do quite often. It had some great power but I got half chopped and half whole when I pulsed. I used the blade recommended in the manual for nuts and I only filled to the noted line on the cup. I pulsed for a bit more to try to get the large pieces and ended up with nut dust. That would be great if I was making a pie crust but I wasn’t.

Less then 2 weeks of using this, the smell is still there. Also one of the blades look chipped so now I cannot even trust it to drink or else you would consume metal.

Make sure lid is on tight! – I was excited to get this blender and try it out. It is well made and has lots of parts, however, I did have trouble getting the lids on and off. They didn’t always line up easily when trying to put them on, then I thought they were on tight, but liquid splashed out onto my counter and walls. I had to take the lid off and put it back on again, trying to be sure it was lined up correctly.

I tried it out myself using precut frozen fruit blend (fruit smoothie in a bag), coconut milk, and ice. I have a commercial countertop blender that could chop up and blend almost anything provide there is enough liquid in it. This little mini blender was every but as powerful as my Cuisnart food processor or my KitchenAid blender. This multifunctional blender also comes with storage jars so you can make your breakfast or lunch smoothie the night before, freeze it, and take it with you the next day. It is also great for blending fresh fruits and vegetables for babies and toddlers to freeze in ice cube trays and then store in freezer bags in single-sized baby portions. No more purchasing over-priced baby food full of who knows what chemicals, artificial colorings and flavors. All you need are some silicone ice cube trays, this multifunctional blende, a couple of trips to the Framer’s Market or your nearest grocery store that sells reasonably priced organic or clean fresh food, storage jars or freezer bags and this blender and you can make food for your child using the small unseasoned cooked portions of your food. Hello blended coffee at home! – You get all kinds of goodies with this unit. I really like that it comes with 2 large cups and a smaller cup. The 2 big ones, I can make my blended coffee and adult beverages in. There are also 2 different blades to use depending on what you are using it for. There are even eco friendly metal straws with this box! And 2 different lids for on the go. My first experiment was to see how well it chopped up ice cubes from an ice tray, you know these are chunky cubes. I added my liquid to the cup, because this will help those blades work. Well, like any other blender I have seen, I had to stop it a couple of times and redistribute the ice to get it crushed at the consistency I wanted. You know how it is, unless you have one of those super, powerful blenders to crush ice but they are so big and bulky. It wasn’t loud either. After a couple of minutes, I had a slushy cup of ice, perfect. I love that I just have to detach the cup from the base and wash out the cup and blade cap, easy peasy. I think it is dishwasher safe, but I don’t have a dishwasher. I will be using the small cup to chop up ingredients to use while cooking. It even comes with a shaker lid for when you grind spices and dried herbs, or even parmesan. This is so much easier to use and clean than those big, bulky blenders and takes up way less room.
