Best toaster ever – I have had my last toaster by Oster for 12 years. The only reason I ordered a new one was it stopped toasting on one side. 12 years is a wonderful time of such a wonderful product.

Works well so far. More even toasting than 3 other brands I tried. Nice looking – Only problem so far is the flax seeds get stuck at bottom. They don’t fall through to the little tray you can pull out. Had to try use tool with tape to pick them out while trying to not mess up heaters.

Must be plugged in for lever to stay down – I read reviews about issues getting the lever to stay down so tested this before I plugged it in in case I had a defective unit. And sure enough, lever would not stay down, but plugged it in and it works perfectly. The defrost feature on frozen split English muffins defrosts them and then toasts them just the way I like. I also really like the cancel button, much easier than forcing the lever up when you don’t want to leave the item for the full time. This replaced a very basic toaster that cost almost as much as this one. So far I am happy with my purchase.

Very nice toaster – When this arrived, hubby and I had flashbacks to our youth. We both had this brand in our households as children and it was nice memories. The settings are nice since I like my toast much more toasted than my husband does. Sometimes I wonder why my husband uses a toaster at all. The stainless steel looks really nice as we are just switching over to a stainless-steel kitchen. I know this brand has a good reputation, so I hope to be using it for a long time.

Great toaster – I really like this toaster..I esp love the fact that it’s lightweight. The controls are simple. I esp love that there’s a button that lights up at the bottom that allows u to cancel toasting the bread if u change ur mind. No complaints easy to use. The crumb tray is easy to remove at the base. Looks good on the counter

For a very reasonably priced toaster..?? AWESOME..! nice stainless steel exterior.. – the one odd thing with this toaster.. and maybe it’s my OCD.. however.. in the instructions it does say for darker, more toasted product to adjust to a higher number.. the knob for this is graduated from 7 to 1.. there is a picture of a slice of bread with a 7 at the far left turn of the knob and a 1 in the slice of bread at the far right turn of the knob.. The 7 setting for the darkest toast, the picture of the slice of bread with the 7 in it is light.. the 1 in the slice of bread at the other end of the turn of the knob is black.. it kind of goes against the instructions and logic.. ANYWAY..??? Great product.. love it
