– Overall, this isn’t a bad product. The plastic parts were disappointing, I was hoping for metal (or at least a more sturdy plastic) – I’m not sure how long these parts will last over the course of time, but I guess we’ll see.

Not so great – Product looks nice, motor seems strong. 20 min. On sorbet produced an ice wall and internal (plastic mixer) froze. I attempted to remove the mixer and it broke. No water added, fruit juice freezes and sticks to the drum wall. Mixing system is bad. Not sure why the top is open, it won’t mix (drop in) ingredients. Very disappointed.

– I’ve always wanted to make my own plant-based ice cream and with this little machine now I can. My first attempt went better than I expected. Some planning is required as you need to freeze the container the night before. The motor can run for about 45 minutes before it overheats and turns off to cool. I don’t need as long as that to make ice cream but I did try using this to agitate a DIY meal replacement shake which needs constant stirring for an hour and this is not cut out for that task (and nor should it be – it’s an ice cream maker).

– If you’ve ever tried to make home-made ice cream you know how much of a hassle it can be. You gotta freeze, take out, scrape, mix, freeze and repeat numerous times to get that desired ice cream consistency. It’s a long process and a little tiring when you factor in all the beating, scraping, and mixing that you have to do.

– I love ice cream and I was looking for a way to make my own, with preferred ingredients and sugar level. This machine is great for this purpose, and as a beginner I found it easy enough to use, the result was as tasty as expected.
