I contacted the company, and they sent the missing part to me free of charge. It only dispenses a 10 ounce cup of coffee, and is a little slow, but it is perfect for me. inconsistent – I should have read the reviews. This is just like some of what I experienced. It holds 40 ounces is says. I want a 20 oz cup of coffee. Logically, I should be able to get 20 ounces by running it twice. Sometimes it give me 3/4 of what I want, sometimes it runs over the top. Tricking it into two cups is no big deal but having to mess with not getting my full cup without making a mess or having to pour little bits in at a time to fill my cup is just too much. This is a fatal defect, so is going back.
