Took it out and couldn’t get it to work. Tried different brands of batteries and nothing. Emailed the company and they sent me a new one within days and it works great. If I’m foaming just a small amount of hot milk in a cup, it’s fine, but if I want to foam half-a-cup of milk, it forces the milk up and out of the cup. Similarly, if I want to mix coffee, cream, and sugar in a cup, it has to be done with very short pulses and the process is annoying. I didn’t have these problems with the previous unit I bought at IKEA some 10 years ago and which finally wore out, Two differences between the two: 1) the IKEA model had a slower speed and 2) the spiral mixer on the IKEA model was smaller in size. This new model could benefit from a two or three speed switch to slow it down for smaller mixing tasks.
