Moist food sealing – I’ve used Food Savers in the past and they just don’t seem to last. I returned the 3rd one I purchased because it stopped sealing in less than 30 days and decided I’d pay more for this one even without reviews. So far I am not disappointed. There are gentle suction and extended vacuuming along with a marinate cycle. I dud not purchase the canister vac, so can’t comment on that.

It Does Have Suction Power But… – I’ve only had this since Prime Day, so no long term use yet. Everything works fine except the “wet” mode. It sucks liquid into the tray, but doesn’t seal completely. On the “dry” mode it works great. I suggest you lightly freeze any wet item you want to vacuum seal, then use it. It keeps the liquid from preventing a good seal. Pretty noisy, but most of them are. Time will tell how it holds up.
