Super easy to cook sticky rice! – I’ve tried to cook sticky rice with rice cooker but never came out the way I want. But since I use this one it always comes out perfectly and takes only 5-7 minutes. Love it!

Favorite kitchen item! – I LOVE my rice cooker and I tell everyone who’ll listen to buy this. I’ve had mine for at least 5 years and it still works perfectly every time. Much more convenient to use compared to a plug-in rice cooker, and the best part is that I can travel with it, i.e. up north for the weekend, going to grandma’s, etc. A game-changer for meal prep.

Great, but with an explanation. – I specifically bought this because I was needing/wanting a microwave rice cooker. If you are looking for a time-saving way to fully cook rice (not instant rice) this probably will not be for you. I was not looking to save time, but to save having to use my stove and pots. Take a look at the packaging of your favorite rice, and see what the cooking time is for microwave cooking it. In my case, I was using Basmati Brown Jasmine rice. There is only a time saving of five minutes between stove and microwave. The product did cook the rice nicely, in my opinion, which is all I really wanted to do so I like this cooker. Clean-up was easy. There is a website with tips and recipes and I honestly have not checked it out.
