It does save food longer than Ziploc bags – The vacuum sealer is very easy to use, I don’t need to read the instruction as every operation I need is just intuitive, open the cover, put the bag with food, then vacuum. I tested the results with putting slices of bread that are not fresh to both ziploc bags and vacuumed bags. days later, the slice in Ziploc smells bad but the one in vacuum is still acceptable.

I LOVE this vacuum/sealer! I keep it on the counter 24/7/365 – I have a full size major brand name food vacuum/sealer but am tired of lugging it out and putting it away every time I need to use it. Plus, its pretty finicky with off-brand bags. I wanted something compact (and powerful!) to keep on the counter full-time, for convenience. One that my off-brand bags will work with. This little guy “Vacuum Sealer Machine, Automatic Vacuum Sealer for Food Storage” is PERFECT! It vacuums perfectly, seals perfectly every time, and I’ve also been able to reseal (not vacuum) potato chip bags, coffee bags… almost everything I’ve tried, it has sealed! It is simple to use and doesn’t take up much room on my countertop, AND it gets the job done! I LOVE it!

Simple sealer for freezing salmon – Bought this simple vacuum sealer to vacuum pack salmon filets after fishing. Arrived very quickly and works great! It comes with 10 plastic seal bags that are all the same size. It doesn’t look like this manufacturer sells additional bags, but I assume they’re all the same. I’ll update the review after I’ve had a chance to try other vacuum seal bags from Amazon.

Great starter machine – Very easy to use vacuum sealer product. The manual is concise but thorough. The machine works great with the bags provided. I had four other bag types to test for my dog treat product. It worked good with the two 5×7 Mylar bags with reseal. The other two I had did not work with this machine due to thickness of Mylar and/or bag width. The vacuum does not seem to work with resealable bags well as the latch of the machine compresses the seal disallowing suction.

You can always keep your food in best condition – I love this vacuum machine. I use it for my oyster.and steak. I do vacuuming and leaving in my Freezer. After 3 days I was using for my dinner. After I defrost . The beef color was not Change at all . And the oysters still Fresh as same day I opened it . And now I can save my food cost. Because I had this machine. And very easy to use . I love this new toys
