      Vita one – This blender is ok. I love Vitamix so while my daily one was being repaired, I bought this one as a back up. I works for that purpose. Tip: if you are using frozen fruit, put the non-frozen item in first, your supplements (protein), then your frozen items, start the blend slow, then turn the dial all the way up to get a good blend of the ingredients, and make sure to use the tamper to help blend.

      Simplicity at its best – I bought the ninja 1400 and this to side by side test. This is smaller,but for my needs PERFECTION. I primarily want to blend greens, ice and vegetables/fruit for smoothies. It has easily handled all w no issues. It is VERY easy to use and clean. Fits under my cabinets and takes up very little room. Nothing fancy…which I like.

      Overheats easily – This is my first Vitamix blender and I am disappointed. I use it for smoothies, so I thaw the frozen fruits for 10 minutes as suggested and I don’t overload the machine. The finished smoothie isn’t cold enough for me and is liquidy (not as thick as I’d like ). I’m afraid to add ice because it overheats It is challenging to seat the blender into the base because I can’t see the spot where it needs to be seated and the blender doesn’t lock into place.In my opinion this blender wasn’t worth the money.I will keep experimenting before deciding whether to return it or not.

      Good Blender but LOUD – This blender is very loud. Makes me want to wear earplugs when I use it. It blends well but is not the $400 version that can liquify cashews without soaking and make hot soup. The real test is if this lasts longer than 2 years which is the average life of a blender.
