Looks nice but a little cheap – Bought this for my moms media room. Had a couple issues putting it together and the pot actually didnt hang straight. Looks like they used a hanger piece from a larger unit on one side but easy fix with a washer holding it up slightly. This allows the gear to engage and works fine. Would have had to been sent back if I didnt figure out a way to secure it. The popcorn maker cabinet is made pretty well other than that but the cart underneath is about as cheap as they could have made it. Fine as long as you dont move it but the way the wheels connect to the base is horrible and will easily break if you arent careful. This isnt that bad for the price but expect to do some “adjusting” yourself.

Needs something to keep popcorn and kernels in the machine and wastes a lost of kernals. – I took the plunge and decided to buy me a nice popcorn machine movie style popcorn. Before hitting on the negatives, the popcorn was really good and did taste like popcorn from the movie theater, which is a lot better than any microwave popcorn I’ve ever eaten. The popcorn I bought here was the All-N-One Premium Tri-Pak which I have no issues with except it may be a bit too salty. t was easy to install, it just took around 30-45 minutes to put it together. However…….the I have a couple of issues with the popcorn machine and it’s design. First of all, the cooking area is on the small side. I couldn’t pour the whole popcorn pack into the cooker at one time. I had to carefully cut the top of the popcorn pack and pour in either the oil or kernals first The cooker is too small to pour in the whole bag of oil, salt, and kernals at the same time. Everything is smaller than what I figured. Now another issue is that there is a lot of wasted and uncooked kernals popping out during the end of the cooking process. I probably wasted more kernals than I popped. Lastly, and to me the most important issue is that there is no barrier between the popcorn and front door. Every time you open the door to access the popcorn, you lose a bunch of fresh popcorn and uncooked kernals to the floor simply because a lack of a plastic barrier. Basically you make a mess every time you use the machine with uncooked kernals and good popcorn falling out of the door. I took a paper plate and cut it in half to make my own barrier. It was an improvement but still a barrier is needed. There is also no waste area for unpopped kernels like other popcorn machines have where they go to separate from the good popcorn. Bottom line……spend a bit more for a better machine. Get a machine with a way to get unpopped kernals to separate from good popcorn, get a machine with a barrier in front of the door to keep things inside the machine and not all over the floor. Again, high marks for the taste of the popcorn, but are the high marks given because of this machine or are high marks given for the popcorn pack I mentioned above.

Cool vintage popcorn machine! – This is a cool popcorn machine. It is mainly plastic. But if you take care of it it will make a nice machine. Makes good popcorn and give your home vintage classic popcorn machine. If you want to get something better for more money they got bigger metal expensive ones. But for 2-4 people this is enough

Very cheaply made, Fisher-Price kid toy quality. – It pops popcorn great. For the price assumed it would be much higher quality. Very cheap plastic, tires are plastic and can’t roll without wobbling like there going to fall off. But pops perfect popcorn every time. Satisfied with the result. But definitely not worth $120 what I paid. Go with a $50 to $60 one with the same quality of popping. But if you got the money to spend, this one will work. Already, well got my money’s worth out of it. Popcorn machines are a great investment for the kids. Just choose the price wisely, this one not it.

Theatre Concession Experience in the Privacy of Your Own Home – We absolutely love this popcorn machine. It is very sturdy, and we now have popcorn that actually taste better than the theatre thanks to my secret ingredients. I took a star away, almost took two, because when you dump the popcorn, the power cord gets in the way and is a little annoying. I think that is a design flaw. My other frustration is that the candy dispenser holes are too small. Peanut M&Ms come out, if you have the patience to keep turning/playing with the knob, and occasionally putting your finger in there. It’s a lot of work to get one at a time. And, I think the plain M&Ms randomly get crushed when you put them in there. Skittles work well, but that’s not really a good choice for popcorn. Cleaning is fairly easy. It comes apart with ease, but it seems like it always has a sticky feel even after it’s cleaned. That’s not a big deal since my wife has me popping popcorn almost daily. Overall, we love this popcorn machine and cart.
