      The slots don’t fit New York Style Bagels – I buy bagels from NYC and freeze them but the width of the slots doesn’t really fit them. I was very sad when my bagels ended up burnt as it touched the coils.

      Great toaster – The price was very reasonable and the toaster works great. Consistent controls and it will take a regular size bagel.

      Great Except: – Why did they make the toaster slots shorter than the average slice of American bread? I have to cut about 2″ – 3″ off of every slice of bread that I toast! Other than that it’s very good and a good value. I love the control too. And it looks good.

      Toasts quickly. Slots too narrow. – It toasts really quickly. Unfortunately the slots are just a little too narrow for bagels, even trying to squish them before you put them in doesn’t work so the slots need to be wider. Toast and muffins fit fine.
