Great for making all kinds of carbonated drinks – Most carbonators are restricted to doing only water. The reason is that they only have one – fast – way to release the pressure after you do the carbonation steps. The Drinkmate is different in that you put a special cap on the bottle prior to carbonating, and the cap has both a slow-release and a fast-release valve. If you are just carbonating water, it doesn’t make a lot of foam and so you can use the fast-release valve, just like every other carbonator out there. And it’s water – if it sprays a bit, not a big deal.
