      Great way to prepare dinner ahead of time – We used this while we were away and wanted to come home to dinner. The food tasted delicious and I used crock pot bags so as not to have to scrub the pot. Put water in the pot, put the crock pot liner in, fill with your favorite ingredients, add water, and let it simmer overnight or all day!

      Good Size for Larger Gatherings, Low Cooks Much Faster Than Original (Old School) Models – In recent years, I find myself utilizing the crock pot for two things: (1) making double batches of chili for my elderly mom so she has plenty to freeze; and (2) making a double batch of a dish for the annual family reunion.

      Nice But Small – This is nice and does the job but it’s very, very small. I was surprised how small this was. It will not hold more than a few chicken legs or maybe 2 pork chops at a time. I got it to use for 2 people and I am wondering if it’s going to be too small. I made 4 hot dogs and an 8 oz. can of sauerkraut and it was OK for that. Might cook a little hotter than my other big crockpots. But it cleans up nice and works. Just small.

      Only got to use once – Standard 3 qt crockpot – unfortunately, I used a recipe from TasteofHome for a zippy bean stew which specifically stated it was for a 3 qt crockpot. However, the recipe was more and I had to remove some liquid. The lid of crockpot was literally sitting in the liquid and I had it on high for 4-5 hours. Cooked fine. When I went to clean it the next morning, I discovered the liquid had flowed into the metal base of the crockpot basically ruining it. So had to toss. May re-order

It would also make a great second if you had a larger one. Dips, ie Queso perfect size for a party. Have used it for Stews, Ribs, Pot Roast, Ham and Beans, Chili. 4 pretty big bowl servings. I use it all the time and my larger one sets idle.
