Amazing espresso – This device came very quickly. It makes amazing espresso. The hardest things with this were getting the filter assembly in place the first time and getting the water to run through it. The first time I put the filter assembly into the maker and turned the handle it felt like I was going to break the handle doing it. Once I ran the test shots through it (with the handle not at 90 degrees because I couldn’t get it there) I was able to turn the handle all the way to where it was supposed to be. I ended up turning on the steam function and after a minute the steam was coming out great. Once it did all my troubles were over. The flavor of the espresso is amazing. The water reservoir is definitely adequate to my needs. I will pull two double shots for my morning coffee. If my kids are over they will each pull a couple double shots too (generally two kids). With all of those shots it still has more than enough water for at least three or four days. I refilled the reservoir after three days and it was far from empty. I recommend this espresso maker highly.

It works – I do not think the espresso side has 20 bars of pressure. Also you can not customize the amount of water in your espresso, ‘out side of 1 or 2’. Other than that it works.

Decent Espresso Machine – It makes Espresso well! It is loud, though, as others reported. I found that removing the drip tray made it significantly quieter. It does make a good espresso!

What I wish I would’ve known before buying… – I researched many home espresso machines before settling on this unit. I had high hopes as it had positive reviews and seemed reasonably priced. However, there are a few things I wished I would’ve known before buying.

I got to keep trying to find that sweet spot. – I’ve learn that pre-ground coffee is not a good coffee to use in this machine. You have to have a medium fine and pre-ground coffee is too fine.

MAKES GOOD ESPRESSO SHOTS BUT IS IT WORTH THE TROUBLE? – The Espresso Machine does make good shots but you need to program the machine to do so. It can take a while and settings need to be reset from time to time as the machine seems to forget settings occasionally. The espresso machine is very light and when twisting the head on to make shots the machine wants to move all over the counter or fall over. It’s definitely a two handed tight grip job. The water reservoir works well and does not seem to leak and the steam wand gets the job done but is flimsy and nerve racking to clean. All in all The Espresso Machine will provide good strong shots when programmed correctly, serve up hot water for the draw and steam easily. The Espresso Machine is kind of small and doesn’t take up much counter space but it’s light weight weight makes it difficult to handle when attaching and detaching the head to draw shots. Being a 20 bar machine does not seem to make any difference over other 15 bar machines. If money is an issue then this espresso machine will be fine. If you can afford a more substantial machine, heavier, then you might want to go that direction. I would not, not recommend this machine. It’s small, light design might be a good starter machine as it performs well. It depends how you want your espresso machine to feel. Three stars is my feeling.
