Very lightweight – EDIT: The fourth time using this waffle maker the light cover fell off when rotating, which now leaves the little light bulb and wires bulging out of the hole. I tried to push it back in place so the bulb and wires weren’t exposed, but the cover won’t stay in place. No good! Cheaply made product. And now there is uneven cooking as well. The bottom plate doesn’t cook as fast as the top plate so while one side of the waffle is done the other side is not. Then cooking the not done side until it is done causes the opposite side to be burnt. Could the heating element be burnt out already after only 4 times of usage?!

Looked over recipe book and wondered why one recipe says 3 tablespoons and another says a cup of batter.. hmmmm. Anyway on to finish unpacking and checking it over. Finger prints on bottom… drip lines on sides and streaks etc on too. Of course it must be oil from grids. Just wash it off! No way..won’t wash off .Now I wonder if this is a “second” and why I got a “deal”. This was NOT a warehouse purchase. Glad it was not a gift purchase.. would be ashamed to pass it off as new… See photos. Not sure I want to even see if it actually does a decent job cooking!
