Container and lid are fine. – The 12 quart container is small but I cook for only two people so it is fine. The lid fits nicely.

LOVE! – I use this every time we sous-vide. It fits 1 rack of ribs but it’s a little tight. I was able to squeeze in 6 ribeye steaks the other night, but that was also at FULL capacity. I love the top lid as it helps prevent evaporation – especially for longer cook times like ribs or brisket. The neoprene sleeve is good for sitting on the counter, but I wouldn’t personally place it on wood or any other soft surface that could be damaged by heat or moisture. We’ve been using this for almost a year now and it is really good quality.

Holds plenty for what I need – Pics are only showing 2 steaks, but I easily got 4 1 1/2 to 2 inch in there with plenty of room for the water to circulate just as needed. Perfect for what I needed.

Great product – This is great for my sous vide machine. Really makes things easy. So much better than trying to get a pot to work. Not sure how the racks are actually supposed to be used, but I think I figured it out (no instructions). The racks are easy, but the extra pieces I assume are to hold the food down? Whatever, it works. Keeps my sous vide at the correct temp throughout the cooking process. Cooking using sous vide much more now that I have this product.

For me, that’s a huge plus but if it’s mishandled, it could easily crack – so a big ding in my rating comes from that. And the neoprene sleeve is great because if I want to peek in, I can draw that down and pull it back up easily. It slides off easily for cleaning and goes right back on before I put it back in the cabinet. And the rack stores neatly right inside the container – couldn’t be better!
