YOU MUST BUY!!!! NO MORE DISHES Y’ALL – I LOVE THIS, or should I say my husband loves this. We had a whole roasted chicken with crispy skin, broccoli, roasted GARLIC potatoes cooked and eating in ONE HOUR! by 1.5 hours we full, cleaned up and going to watch our favorite television show. We had one outside dish. two plates 2 forks. OMG!!! THIS IS THE WAY TO EAT. Big families need this too to help with clean up. The flavor of the chicken was amazing better than the oven! I want to unplug that expensive electric stove. We had chicken wings saved ourselves $40 wings are so expensive at the restaurant. You won’t regret this purchase. We got it for $169 during BF season. It is worth every penny. Note: we pressure cooked our wings and chicken FIRST then (roasted for crispy skin we roasted the whole chicken 400 for 7-10 minutes) (airfry for the crispy wings 425-450 for 3-5 minutes)

Worth it mostly. Bigger than you expect. Too much for the average user. – Definitely a good replacement for my traditional pressure cooker. It’s quite a bit larger than my mind had estimated and the lid you’re not using takes up a large footprint of area. The companion app in general doesn’t seem to grasp that this item exists and struggles to be relevant. I’d say it’s a buy below 200$ as with the entirety of bells/whistles it lacks the wi-fi usability of it’s cousins. Thoughts on improvement which may guide your decision:

First attempt it didn’t seal completely and leaked steam but food was cooked on time like the recipe stated. 2nd attempt sealed but required a lot of fiddling around. I’m afraid I need to return the pressure lid for that reason. Fryer lid works as intended. Probably going to stick with my deep fryer, though, but the lid is necessary for several other functions, including baking. My pressure cooker (2 pots, 1 lid) is better for bigger food items but is heavier than the IP so I’ll use both, depending on the menu.

But this version of the Instant Pot is the most versatile, single unit I have found that does so many things. AND does them well. I still have not tried the sous vide function, but I have no reason to believe that it would also be spectacular. Highly recommend!!!

Replacing my 6oz Ultra – Bought this 8oz to replace my 6oz Ultra. I absolutely love the handles on the pan. Such a simple addition, but it makes work much faster. Get a pan lid for it, to store stuff straight to the fridge.
