Great first air fryer/oven! – Prior to this, we always had a countertop convection oven. Granted, that thing had the space to do some serious baking, but my preferred brand – not a cheap one – always gave out after about 12-16 months.

– I’ve been using the Ninja air fry oven for a few weeks and really love it. It heats up incredibly fast and cooks quickly. Yes, it’s small. It’s not going to replace your regular oven, the way a smaller convection or counter top oven might, but what it does, it does very well.

– I can’t really fault Amazon for shipping but they sent it to Puralator to ship. It travelled around Toronto area for a week before it finally arrived here in Sudbury. Amazon refunded my money on day 7, assuming it was lost, but it arrived the next day. I contacted Amazon to see how to reverse the refund as it finally arrived. They said they can’t do that and told me to keep the oven also. Wonderful! I had ordered a ‘slightly used’ version of the oven after reading reviews saying their oven had hardly a scratch. Unfortunately, mine looked like it had been dropped. The upper back left corner has a major ding, the door does not close completely, upper right front corner has been pushed in slightly and the left side of the oven has a gap where it is separating. Not great, right? Just be aware if you are ordering the ‘slightly used’ version it may have more than a a cosmetic blemish. Obviously I’ll keep it as it came at no cost but I do wish I had ordered a new one. As for functionality, it makes perfect toast and bagels. Great for warming up a medium sized pizza when you don’t want to use a full sized oven. It is super easy to clean. Just remove the crumb tray, flip it up and open up the back. It is convenient in that it can be flipped up and placed against the wall on the counter top when not in use. Canadian Tire sells the exact same model for $350 so the Amazon price beats that by a lot. I’ll use it till it literally falls apart and I will probably buy another but not a ‘slightly used’ one. Lesson learned.
