Fluffy Snowy Ice – This was one of our favorite purchases this summer!! We have used it every day since we bought it and my only complaint would be the noise level. It’s very loud but it makes the best snow cone! The kids use it by themselves and I use it with no flavors added, just a great cup of fluffy ice for a zero calorie snack! I have a habit of chewing ice and my sweet husband bought me an expensive pellet ice machine 4 yrs ago. While I love my pellet ice machine, this snow cone maker has become my go to for my daily cups of ice! Great product for a great price!

The Nostaglia RSM702 does indeed Cut/Grind up ICE into crystals!! Downside is cleanup, but is a minor issue. – I found comparing the various models available on the site a bit overwhelming, and ended up getting this “RSM702” in May 2017 mostly on it’s seemingly small footprint and the excellent video another purchaser provided.

Great product! – Me and my family bought this snow cone machine for the summer and I have to say it was great! Overall of the reviews we were a little worried to make the purchase, everyone was saying it was shaky and loud and yes I do agree it was loud. But it made snow cones for the family and I do recommend buying the juice, straws, and extra cones because the machine itself only comes with one cone and no juice. Also it goes a bit crazy with the ice so sometimes we hold the cone, but it doesn’t do it very often and it only took a day to get here we used it right away. This was an awesome purchase for our first machine. Best 60 bucks I have ever spent!

Needs a forming sheild – Works well it just needs a forming shield to prevent the shaved ice from going everywhere

Doesn’t Hold the Cone – This doesn’t hold the cone like it’s pictured. We even got paper cones thinking maybe the ones it came with were too heavy, but nope… it falls down. Everything else is great though.

Awesome but could have some improvements overall fun and simple – I used this for a party and it only made two cones at a time but with that pretty fast so I think it was worth it especially with the price.
